The closet light has uniquemounting brackets that swivel and can be mounted not only in a horizontalposition but in a vertical orientation as well. This allowed me to mount thelight on the divider between two sections of the closet that spans the widthof the bedroom and then swivel the bracket so the lights faces the side whereyou need light. Note: The mounting brackets are a little hard to open for thefirst time. You might had to use a small screwdriver to pry them open at oneof the corners which allowed you to disengage a small tab that holds thebrackets in place.
