The Produce preserver replacement filters absorb ethylene
allowing the ripening process of many produce items to slow down. As a
results, certain produce items will stay fresh longer that are kept in your
crisper drawer. It extends freshness of produce up to 25%. This kit includes 2
replacement filters and 1 status indicator which will be put in the housing in
your crisper drawer. The status indicator helps you remember to change the
pouches. Replace pouches and status indicator every six months for optimal
freshness. The Produce Preserver Starter Kit which will include the housing, 2
filters and 1 status indicator is part number W11462816 From the Manufacturer
Helps keep produce fresher longer. Fruits and vegetables naturally give off
ethylene gas as they ripen. When they absorb the gas it makes them over-ripen
faster. Fresh Flow Produce Preserver absorbs the ethylene instead, so produce
stays fresh up to four days longer.
