Tomato,Yellow PEAR Tomato Seed, Heirloom, Non-GMO, 25+ Seeds, Tasty, Great for Salads
Description
Long, indeterminate vines produce a seemingly endless supply of mild flavored,
pear-shaped tomatoes all summer. The tiny tomatoes are borne in clusters. This
is one of the prettiest tomatoes in the garden. It’s beautiful in a salad.
Vines can grow 8 feet or longer, so give them a tall support or place to
ramble. Average Yellow Pear tomatoes are about an inch across, but these tend
to grow about 1 ½ inch across fruit. Vining Yellow Pear tomatoes can grow
fairly.Tomatoes are eaten raw or cooked, but the smaller Yellow Pear tomatoes
are more often eaten raw just because of their size. High in vitamins A and C,
and are great sources for potassium, vitamin K and even fiber. While starting
seeds of the Yellow Pear Tomato is not necessarily difficult, the right
conditions will make the process successful. Sow Yellow Pear Tomato seeds
directly in the ground in the spring when the threat of frost has passed or
start in containers several weeks before transplanting into soil. Keep the
ground moist but not wet for the first couple of weeks. Pick a sunny, well-
drained spot for planting for the best performance. Yellow Pear Tomato prefers
a well-drained fertile soil in a sunny position. Yellow Pear Tomatoes are
splendid for growing up fences or a tomato cage. They will rapidly cover
fences, cages and trellises or can be made into their own garden feature with
stakes and twine. They’re just as effective as trailers from hanging baskets
or boxes. Normally these Tomatoes will reseed themselves and grow year after
year. Tomato plants need regular watering. Height: 6-10 feet (indeterminate
