The design for this t-hawk evolved from the popular andoriginal Cogan Tactical Tomahawk. The Woods Cogan is made from a solid chunkof 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head and features ahammer finish. The t-hawk has primary and secondary edge bevels that are flatground to cut through timber like a beaver. A hammer head is useful forpounding in nails and tent stakes. The thick wood handle is made in the USAfrom Tennessee hickory. It’s comfortable in hand and sealed with a lacquercoat that adds durability when you’re in the backcountry.
