This DIY replacement part is the complete assembly and includes handle, cable,and clip. The oval pull handle assembly is 3 1/2 inches long and 3 incheswide. The clip to tip connection is 5.75 inches with the S shaped tip. Theexposed wire is 5 inches. The cable (from end of the barrel connection at thehandle to S tip) is 37 inches and the total length is 42 inches. This assemblyfits ASHLEY RECLINERS and others. For any DIY project, measurements andfittings are very important. The exposed wire and ending shape are criticalfor the proper operation of the footrest mechanism of your recliningfurniture. Please remove the broken or damaged handle and save any screws orattachment pieces. Carefully observe the attachment of the exposed wire to thefootrest release mechanism and the position of the mounting clip when removingthe handle. There are several lengths of cables and exposed wires as well asmounting plate shapes.
