Roots – Aptly named, the 'Watermelon Radish' is an exotic looking variety that produces white skinned roots with a bright magenta colored flesh. Delicious and nutritious!
Growth – Watermelon Radishes grow 4 to 6 inch tops and produce rounded roots that measure 3 to 3.5 inches in diameter. Mildly sweet in flavor, they are a great addition to salads.
Harvest – Like most radishes, Watermelon Radish will be ready in approximately 40 to 50 days after first sprouts appear. When ready, grab the leafy greens where they meet the roots and give them a tug.
Quality – All Radish seeds packaged by Seed Needs are intended for the current and the following growing seasons. All seeds are stored in a temperature controlled facility that is free of significant amounts of moisture.
