backcountry classic, the Platypus Hoser Hands-Free Hydration System Reservoir
is an ultralight, minimalist hydration system that delivers taste-free
hydration with a versatile, durable design that makes it great for
backpacking, thru-hiking, and day hikes. Offered with or without the Fast Flow
Valve, the self-sealing HyFLO bite valve delivers a 30-percent increase in
flow rate, making it quicker and easier to hydrate on the go. An integrated
hang/carry loop makes it easy to secure the reservoir in a backpack or
elsewhere. The Hoser is taste-free, BPA-free, BPS-free, phthalate-free and
features embedded silver-ion to protect the reservoir from mold and bacteria.
The outlet on this versatile reservoir also accepts any threaded Platypus
drink tube or closure cap. The Platypus Hoser Reservoir is available in 4
sizes: the 1.0-Liter measures 5.25 x 11.5 inches and weighs 3.2 ounces, the
1.8-Liter measures 7.75 x 11.5 inches and weighs 3.4 ounces, the 2.0-Liter
