BATTERY REPLACEMENT 1. To open the battery compartment, turn the lantern base
counterclockwise. 2. Remove old batteries and replace by new ones. Check for
correct polarity according to the polarity marks. Note: Do not mix used and
new batteries or batteries of different brands or types. 3. To close the
battery compartment, put the lantern base back on according to the marking and
