By replacing new filter every 6 to 12 months willenhance the taste and alkalinity of your water. This filter will not fit toOlder HG model. It is very important to choose the right filter for your waterionizer. If your filter tray has two extra notches in the center hole (outlet)and not completely round, you have the HG-N type filter and this filter willfit to your machine. If your filter center nipple is completely round, youneed to buy ‘HG’ filter. Please verify whether you have the original modelfilter or the new HG-N model filter.
