resistant. Outstanding performance over a wide range of temperatures.
Preferred by professional contractors who demand a consistent, trouble-free
product. Applications includes heating, air conditioning, ventilating and
refrigeration applications. Sealing of seams and joints in metal air handling
systems. Manufacture of flexible duct equipped with metal collars. Bonding,
protecting, holding, repairing, patching. Asbestos removal and polyethylene
hanging. Waterproof repairs. Heavy-duty packaging and bundling. Seaming and
securing underlayment materials. Plastering applications. Heavy-duty
contractor and manufacturing uses. Mediablast protection. Seaming and sealing
for heavy PE sheeting and tarps. PE-coated cloth backing. High tensile
strength for difficult applications. Puncture and abrasion resistance. Crisp,
straight tear. Moisture, solvent and abrasion resistant. Natural rubber based
adhesive. Aggressive adhesion to all surfaces. Low VOC content. Can contribute
toward satisfying EQ Credit 4.1 (Low Emitting Materials) under LEED. Tested in
accordance with UL 723. Total thickness: 13 mils. Adhesion to steel: 95 ounces
per inch. Tensile strength: 50 pounds per inch. Operating temperature: 40 to
200 degree F. Elongation: 13 percent. Smoke developed: 20. Flame spread: 15.
VOC content: less than 1 grams per liter.
