The MakerBot Smart Extruder+ (MP07325) for the MakerBot Replicator+,
Replicator Mini+ and their 3D printer predecessors is designed to provide

MakerBot PLA Filament. A culmination of product design and 160,000+ hours of
rigorous testing, the Smart Extruder+ features improved components and an
enhanced sensor system to ensure simple, reliable 3D printing from start to
finish. A modular design allows users to remove and replace the extruder with
ease thanks to the industry’s only extruder that attaches magnetically and can
be instantly swapped for minimal downtime. Jam detection pauses the printer,
allowing for convenient print recovery, while z-homing and leveling sensors
enable accurate and reliable build plate leveling. When using PLA filament,
the MakerBot Smart Extruder+ is backed by a 6-month warranty.
