2-3/4-Inch Jaw width vise mounts to any smooth surface, (laminate, steel,granite). Vise swivels 360-Degree and can pivot 90-Degree. Ball and socketmechanism allows vise to be positioned in the most convenient position forworking on small parts. Vise head can be easily rotated or pivoted to allowworking on opposite sides of small part without removing the part from thevise jaws. Threaded collar locks ball and socket in place easily. Vacuum basesecurely attaches the vise to smooth work surfaces, laminate, steel, andgranite are examples. Surface must be smooth, wood grain surface an -Inchpebbeled -Inch surfaces are not suitable. Soft vise jaws are included forholding parts without marring. Vise jaws close in parallel on double guide bardesign. Body parts are precision die cast. Vacuum base is operated with steellever to actuate vacuum. Rubber vacuum base should cleaned regularly to removedust with a clean cloth and water. A small amount of water can be applied tothe rubber vacuum surface for best vacuum hoding force.
