temperatures up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Typical applications include
protective jacketing and harnessing. On a 1-1/2 inch core, this black, 7 mil
vinyl tape is a good quality, economical general purpose insulating tape. Its
elastic backing ensures easy, moisture-tight conformation to irregular
surfaces. 3M Tartan General Use Vinyl Electrical Insulating Tape offers good
resistance to abrasion, moisture, alkalis, acid, copper corrosion and varying
weather conditions (including ultraviolet). UL Listed and is flame-retardant.
