The Micro Sprite is our highest rated 2 wheel scooter for ages 6 and up. It
offers a lot of Micro quality and style for a great price. With its cool
colors and fantastically smooth glide, the Sprite is everyone’s favorite. The
Sprite is strong and lightweight, only 5.5 lbs, with an adjustable height
handle bar that extends 34″ above the deck (37″ above the ground) and a
maximum rider load of 220 lbs. It’s also a great travel and commuter scooter –
it can be folded up quickly and easily for carrying or storing away, and the
built-in kickstand allows quick upright “parking.” For daily use, the Sprite
is ideal for young teens. We would direct larger adults to the Micro White or
Black, or the Flex Blue. The Sprite comes completely assembled, with a
patented double-button folding system. To unfold, simply loosen the clamp on
the folding mechanism, then push in and hold the 2 buttons on either side of
the front wheel. Unfold your scooter and ride. The two-way kickstand can be
kicked forward or back when you’re ready to ride. We recommend kicking it
forward to ride, so that when you’re ready to park, you can use your toe to
deploy the stand. It’s the cool way to park your ride. SAFETY – We strongly
recommend that riders wear a helmet. Please note, the age limit on the Micro
Sprite scooters recently changed to ages 6+ as a result of updated testing.
However, some packaging/materials/products have not been updated yet to
reflect the new age limit.
