head is forged in Sweden from high-quality hand-forged Swedish axe steel for a
consistently rugged and reliable product. The head is attached to the handle
using both a wooden and a steel axe wedge to secure fastening. Husqvarna’s
26-inch hickory axe handle features a slightly curved grip to deliver power to
each cut and the proper leverage while swinging. This felling axe includes a
Husqvarna leather edge cover to protect the blade and for added safety. Store
this wooden axe in moderate temperatures to avoid handle shrinkage. Remove
surface dirt and grease the blade before storing it to prevent rusting in
between uses. In addition to forestry tools, Husqvarna offers a variety of
landscaping tools and outdoor tools like chainsaws, trimmers and hatchets.
