This Viking Quadrant Berserker Shield features a black pre-stained wooden body with a steel boss, rim and metal braces riveted across theshield. The back features a genuine leather arm strap with steel buckle and acomfortable steel handle. Viking warriors were highly feared across Europe fortheir brutal attacks and unorthodox for the time weapon of choice, the battleaxe. Well known for their close quarter fighting style and berserker’s, mostVikings warriors were modestly armored with only shields like this one.
