Description

Sweet Bell Pepper ‘Cal Wonder’ – Capsicum annuum An old heirloom pepper that
grows to about 4 to 5 inches long and 4 inches across with a thick and glossy
sweet red flesh. Large 2 to 2 ½ foot tall plants with an abundance of fruit.
SOW seeds indoors about 8 weeks prior to planting out into warm weather at a
depth of ¼ inch. If possible, use a seed heat mat or other method to maintain
soil temperatures of 80 to 90 degrees. HARVEST peppers when they are green for
a mild taste or when they have turned bright red for a sweeter taste. Ready to
pick 65 to 85 days after transplanting. TIPS Pick peppers regularly to
encourage further fruit set. Pepper plants need more phosphorus than other
vegetables and will benefit from being watered in with a high phosphorus
