Iceberg Lettuce ‘Crispino’ – Lactuca sativa One of the easier to grow iceberg
varieties, growing well in less than ideal conditions. Very crispy and juicy
white-green heads with mild taste. SOW seeds in the cool weather of spring,
fall, or mild winter at a depth of 1/8 inch and 10 inch spacing. Can be
started indoors 4 to 6 weeks before planting out. HARVEST full size heads
before they begin to elongate by cutting at the base of the plant. Ready to
harvest in just 55 to 70 days! TIPS Lettuce seeds will not germinate in high
temperatures. In warmer weather, cool the soil by supplying sufficient
irrigation, planting in partial shade, or starting seeds indoors. Who says
