These prefolds are extremely absorbent and luxuriously soft. You and baby will love the feel and absorbency of our perfect blend of 70% rayon from bamboo fibers and 30% organic cotton.
This size is our "Traditional Fit" Small 7-15 lbs. Traditional prefolds are folded on to baby (see folding image) and fastened with pins or diaper fasteners. A diaper cover is placed over the cloth diaper to prevent leaks.
These "Traditional Sized" prefolds are 12X16 inches prior to washing and if properly cared for will shrink about 5-10% with repeated washings. Fits babies 7-15 lbs. 4x8x4 layering assures maximum absorbency.
Wash and dry 2-3 times in warm water and detergent before using to prep these rayon/organic cotton prefolds. This is necessary to remove the natural cotton oils of the unbleached organic cotton and to activate the absorbancy.
For routine laundering, first drop or rinse solids in toilet before placing into diaper pail. Wash once in cold water on fast cycle with detergent. Wash again in warm water on full length cycle. Line dry or machine dry on medium temperature.
