The NDS Catch Basin Filter fits the 12-inch Catch Basin. This removable, andeasy-to-clean filter helps prevent dirt and debris from clogging the drainagesystem. The filter bag, made out of nonwoven, spun bonded, polypropylenegeotextile fabric that provides superior filtration, inert to biologicaldegradation, and resistant to naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis, andacids, can hold up to 40 lbs. without tearing. Its bypass feature allows waterto flow to the catch basin even if the filter is full and is particularlyuseful after a heavy storm water event. The filter comes pre-assembled, makingit easy to install: unscrew the grate, drop the filter in and reinstall thegrate.
