Thermostat Kit; part number 279973. Includes a Thermal Fuse and a Thermostat.
The thermal fuse is 352 degree F, it is a one time fuse, if it blows, it will
not allow the heat to come back on. The high limit thermostat (3391914) is
rated 295 degree F /146 degree C. Replacement for numbers 3391913, 3404152,
3404151, 3977395, 8318314, AP3094323 and PS334387. Designed to fit specific
Whirlpool manufactured dryers including Kitchenaid, Roper and some Kenmore
models.Thermal cut-off fuse kit 279973 shuts off the heating element when the
dryer overheats.
