built with a layer of padding on the lower leg and calf designed to protect
from rope burn and other injuries. While the durability of this sock was
originally developed for OCR, the quality American construction makes this
sock great for any situation which requires an extra layer of comfort and
durability. The difference comes from 168 needlepoint compression construction
and tougher yarn which provides ideal compression and superior abrasion
resistance, when compared to other gym quality compression socks and sleeves.
While these socks are extremely tough and durable their designed to drain
quickly and remain light-weight for long distance OCR courses, mountain bike
rides, or hikes. Our long-lasting construction make these socks perfect
athletes of all types including, Motocross, Field Hockey, Ice Hockey, Soccer,
Football, and many more. These socks are also great for anyone who spends a
lot of time on their feet, like nurses, police, firefighters, construction
workers etc. The 15-20 mmhg graduated compression helps to alleviate symptoms
of various medical conditions.
