From the Manufacturer The Junkers Ju 52 was a transport type of aircraft
manufactured by Junkers. It was also a bomber nicknamed Auntie Ju. Its maiden
flight was on the 13th of October 1930 and was introduced commercially in
1931. Its primary users are Luftwaffe, Spain, and France. It flew with other
air carriers as an airliner and freight hauler. Junkers Ju 52 Auntie Ju also
flew in military role with Luftwaffe as a troop, a cargo transport, and a
medium bomber. Ju 52 was still active with Swiss Air Force until early 1980s.
The Ju 52 was designed by Ernst Zindel with his team at the Junkers located at
Dessau in 1930. The Ju 52/3m g7e allows only three flight crew and that
includes two pilots and a radio operator. It has a capacity for passengers of
18 troops or 12 litter patients. It has a length of 18.90 meter; wingspan of
29.25 meter; height of 4.5 meter; wing area of 110.5 square meters; weight of
6,510 kilogram when empty and 9,200 kilogram as max takeoff weight. It was
