the high strings of our ever-popular Regular Slinky set and the low strings of
our slightly heavier Power Slinky set, giving players a little more force on
the low-end. These electric guitar strings are precision manufactured to the
highest standards and most exacting specifications to ensure consistency,
optimum performance, and long life. Ultra Slinky wound strings are made from
nickel-plated steel wire wrapped around a hex-shaped steel core wire. The
plain strings are made of specially tempered tin-plated high-carbon steel,
resulting in a bright and well-balanced tone for your guitar. Ultra Slinky
gauges are .010 .013 .017 .028 .038 .048. From the Manufacturer Ultra Slinkys
combine the popular Regular Slinky and Power Slinky strings into one set,
offering the lighter playability of the Regular Slinkys with the heavier low-
end tone of the Power Slinky set. This combination is perfect for lead players
who love to bend without losing fullness or tension for rhythm and chords.
