On 1mm thick steel surface; these hooks can pin 23 sheets of A4 paper, with a sheer force rating of 5 pounds and a pull force rating of 8 pounds. At 2mm; they can pin 19 sheets, with a sheer force of 6 pounds, and a pull force of 11 pounds. At 3mm; they can pin 19 sheets, with a sheer force of 5 pounds, and a pull force of 13 pounds.
