Description
Petmate Excelsior Nesting Pads provide a soft surface for hens to lay while
helping eggs stay dry, clean, and protected from breakage. The chicken nesting
box pads absorb moisture from the surface to the paper lining below, providing
a sanitary nesting environment for incubation and harvesting eggs. Compatible
with most nesting boxes, these nesting pads feature a soft, flexible material
that hens prefer over hard surfaces. By attracting hens to lay in the nest
box, these nest pads ensure cushioned protection for eggs and easy egg-
gathering in a single place. The excelsior surface holds firm to the backing,
allowing hens to easily manipulate their nests while keeping nest boxes tidy.
Made of 100% biodegradable materials, the nest pads can be safely composted
after use. The package includes 10 nest pads, each measuring 13 by 13 inches.
The nesting pads are sustainably sourced from 100% Great Lakes Aspen and made
in the USA.
