New Zealand essential healing oils. Manuka Oil from New Zealand and Tea Tree
Oil from Australia have been used for centuries as healing and aromatic oils.
They are now regarded as top natural oils by people around the world for
natural health. The best Manuka Oil is from the East Cape region of New
Zealand, and its properties are defined by naturally occurring compounds
called triketones, mainly Leptospermone, Isoleptospermone, Flavesome, and
Grandiflorone. When it comes to Australian Tea Tree Oil, properties are the
result of a compound called Terpinen-4-ol. Whereas so far these two essential
oils have been used separately, the consensus is that a blended oil containing
the key compounds of each oil would be superior to either oil by itself.
Advances in technology now allow for the isolation of the triketone fraction
from Manuka Oil and the Terpinen-4-ol fraction from Tea Tree Oil. The result
of blending these fractions is this TT4 Ultra Blend, which has low aroma and
captures the best of essential oil traditions from Australia and New Zealand.
Triketone concentration is 35%, and Terpinen-4-ol, 43%.
