Our gum spirits of turpentine and pine gum rosin are derived from slash pinetrees (pinus elliottii) growing in south Georgia, USA, using sustainableforest practices. We harvest the raw pine gum ourselves. Then, we fire distillthe raw gum right here on our farm using basically the same methods used forhundreds of years. Finally, we bottle, label, package, and ship our turpentineall by hand. Attention to detail is paramount in our business. Our goal is tomaintain the historical integrity of pure gum spirits of turpentine and pinegum rosin while also providing our customers with premier products they canafford. Our turpentine is not to be confused with “rectified turpentine,”which is a by-product of the pulp and paper industry and contains sulfates andother impurities. Our turpentine is 100% pure and organic.
