Redundant RAID 5 and 6 protection shields storage configurations from 1 or 2
disk failures, respectively. Built-in NVRAM constantly tracks in-progress
writes to preserve the integrity of data in the event of a drive failure or
system crash, and streamline recovery procedures while minimizing downtime.
Storage Health Inspector (SHI) proactively maintains the health of arrays by
examining each drive for failed sectors & Dynamically Repair/Remap on the fly
to keep storage ready & able. HighPoint DV Mode for Streaming Performance: DV
Mode Technology intelligently manages the flow of large data blocks and write-
back caching to minimize latency and ensure consistent, sustained high-
performance transfers for media-rich applications. Comprehensive RAID &
Storage Management Interface: The streamlined web-based user interface
simplifies the storage configuration process and allows customers to quickly
asses total available capacity, the status of individual hard drives or SSD’s,
and the health of RAID and JBOD configurations. Optional auto rebuild and hot
spare features add additional layers of data security to redundant RAID 5 and
6 configurations. Administrators can designate unused drives to automatically
take the place of failed units or configure the HBA to immediately initiating
a rebuild by simply plugging in a new drive. Advanced features enable remote
management via an internet connection or local network, and configure Email
notification to inform users of changing storage conditions.
