The Watts 8FR 3/4 in. Brass Hose Connection Vacuum Breaker
is specially made for attaching portable hoses to hose thread faucets to
prevent the flow of contaminated water back into the potable water supply and
provide protection against back siphonage for health hazard installations
requiring non-continuous pressure. This vacuum breaker also has a freeze
relief feature that protects the valve from freeze damage. It attaches to a
sill cock with a 3/4 in. female hose thread by 3/4 in. male hose thread
connection, and is ideal for a variety of installations such as service sinks,
swimming pools, photo developing tanks, laundry tubs, wash racks, dairy barns,
marinas, and general outside gardening uses. From the Manufacturer Series 8FR
Hose connection. Vacuum Breakers permit the attachment of portable hoses to
hose thread faucets and prevent the reverse flow of polluted water from
entering into the potable water supply due to backsiphon.ge. It consists of a
brass body construction . stainless steel working parts, a rubber diaphragm
