Description

LOCTITE Threadlocker 271 is a high strength, red threadlocker for heavy-duty
applications. Especially well-suited for permanently locking studs and press
fits. Adds 3,000 psi holding power on slip and press fit assemblies. Replaces
set screws and snap rings. Locks against vibration loosening. Removable with
heat and hand tools. For fasteners up to 1″ (25mm) in size.LOCTITE 271 is a
red, low viscosity, methacrylate-based threadlocking adhesive with high
strength. With steel fixture time of 10 min, brass 5 min and stainless steel
15 min. Can tolerate slight contaminations of industrial oils. Suitable for
all metal fasteners. Breakaway torque on M10 bolts of 26 Nm. Fluoresces under
UV light. Perfect for temperatures between -65°F – 360°F (-54°C –
182°C).LOCTITE 271 is designed for the permanent locking and sealing of
threaded fasteners. The product cures when confined in the absence of air
between close fitting metal surfaces and prevents loosening and leakage from
shock and vibration. LOCTITE 271 adds 3,000 PSI holding power on slip and
press fit assemblies. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS include the locking and sealing of
large bolts and studs (up to M25 ).MILITARY GRADE ADHESIONThis high-strength
thread locker is tested to the lot requirements of Military Specification
Mil-S-46163A. MIL-SPEC (Military standard or Military-SPEC) adhesive are
